When I was young I use to love to squirt water through my gap in my teeth to see how far the water would go...inhale and exhale through the space...stick my tongue in the space when nervous...then the teenage insecurities struck me and I had the gap filled in. In my later years I began wondering why did I ever do that! So I had it removed and feel soooooooooo good again! Back to me!

So here's to saying "no" to braces, and "yes" to sexy, quirky flaws that make us that much more beautiful!!

It's been quite a while since my last post.I've been traveling and living to the fullest! Of course that eventually leads to a reality check. I have been working three jobs and getting ready for my first trade show....busy "dusty boots" needs another vacation after this show is over!

I have been such a hustler lately...trying to make a dolla outta fifteen cent! This job searching has finally gotten to me. I have always felt that I do not belong here in this time but, our modern day "depression" is just depressing! I mean people were starving and killing themselves back then but for the most part people entertained themselves and seemed to have a grand 'ol tyme and to make the best of their situation. With that said I dust off the shoes, put my red lips on and try again the next day. When the time is right...right?

I haven't really made time to blog which is the intention I had when I began this. Between moving my bedroom, painting, redecorating, finding a roommate, creating goodies for upcoming events, looking for a job, reading, and trying to promote DUST I needed another escape. This band She&Him are playing soon but sold out. They have such a cute dynamic together, very sweet cover songs.



And because Zooey Deschanel is just adorable!

I stumbled upon this today and actually like her voice. We all know her as the model with shaved eyebrows and gorgeous red hair...or as Jack Whites wife. I have been a fan of her since she became the Creative Director and performer with the New York based political cabaret troupe, The Citizens Band. Her solo album is coming out soon and I like this song...of course Mr.White produced it so we shall see how the rest of the album sounds when it comes out.

I'm sure your all beginning to see a theme here with my picture selection. The photographer is brillant and has been a favorite of mine. I will be flipping through pages of Italian Vogue (at the newsstands because I can't afford the pricey magazine) and am ALWAYS drawn in to certain images. It never fails...everytime Ellen von Unwerth.
